About
I'm a Shinto priest in Kanazawa. My family has served at our shrine since it was founded in 939, and I'm the 26th generation to carry on the tradition. Outside of my duties at the shrine, I enjoy relaxing in saunas and I'm interested in staying active through swimming, cycling, snowboarding, and triathlons.
Favourite thing to do
I love exploring old towns, and Kanazawa's is particularly charming. Wandering the streets, I always make sure to indulge in the fresh, delicious food.
Favourite Food
Fresh seafood, sushi, and ramen are some of my favorite things to eat. Speaking of ramen, my absolute favorite place is Mentsumiki (麺つみき)
My Recommendation
Take a day to walk around kanazawa and visit all of the historical places, from ancient castles to 1000 year old shrines.
